Set in over 20 acres of stunning countryside in rural North Yorkshire, Welburn Hall School caters for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 19 and can offer you an exceptional and unique environment in which to help our children and young people with their learning. Welburn Hall has a vibrant and successful 6th Form College catering for young people between the ages of 16 and 19 and these young people are residential Monday to Friday. The postholder is responsible for all outcomes of the residential students, as well as being Designated Safeguarding Lead.
You will have the enthusiasm and resilience to work with children and young people who have a wide variety of needs including:
• Autistic spectrum disorder • Moderate and severe learning difficulties • Profound and multiple learning difficulties The ability to demonstrate a proven successful track record in a comparable setting, will be an advantage.

Welburn Hall also has a vibrant and successful 6th Form College catering for young people between the ages of 16 and 19 and these young people are residential Monday to Friday.

The role will be term time only, Band E with a starting salary of £15,407.91 per annum. Start Date - as soon as possible.
